Job summary

Coles Group’s Chef Fresh team in Banksmeadow is seeking a Process Worker to join the production team. Reporting to the Assistant Warehouse Manager, you’ll stage, decant and deliver raw materials to ensure fresh meals reach customers nationwide.

The role requires GMP and food safety knowledge, ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, and readiness to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol checks.

Qualifications

• Autonomy to work independently while collaborating with the team.
• GMP & Food Safety standards knowledge, handling of raw meats.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol checks required.

Responsibilities

• Staging, decanting and delivering raw materials to production lines.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards (HACCP, WHS).
• Meet daily production targets and contribute to a smooth shift.

About the role

Join us at Chef Fresh as a Process Worker and play an important role in our production team. Reporting to the Assistant Warehouse Manager, you’ll be staging, decanting, and delivering raw materials, ensuring we provide fresh, high-quality meals to our customers across Australia.

Shift Available:2:30PM - 10:30PM

About you and your skills

• Able to work autonomously and collaborate with the team to achieve production targets
• Apply your expertise in GMP & Food Safety Standards to ensure quality (handling of raw meats expected)
• You’ll excel in a fast-paced environment, hitting deadlines and delivering results
• Able to Communicate effectively and work well with others
• Confidently handle repetitive manual tasks
• Bring your experience in cold processing and commitment to safety (HACCP, Food Quality, WHS, etc.)
• Able to complete pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol checks
