Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) or relevant trade with substantial experience.
• Solid OH&S knowledge for manufacturing plants.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and innovative thinking.
• Ability to juggle multiple demands and prioritise effectively.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong planning and coordination abilities.
• Professional and friendly interaction with customers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Identify root causes of plant performance issues with operators and peers.
• Identify and implement energy saving and waste reduction projects.
• Identify potential plant improvements to help internal customers meet KPIs.
• Complete process designs to engineering standards and procedures.
• Engage and manage external consultants when needed.
• Prepare scope documents, costings, timelines, and manage resources.
• Lead HAZOP/HACCP reviews of process changes.
• Lead technical investigations on process quality, safety, or compliance.
• Supervise contractors to ensure site safety and compliance.
• Be on site to supervise scheduled works and provide commissioning support.
