Job summary

Scalzo Foods in Melbourne is seeking a highly self-motivated Project Engineer to lead strategic and day-to-day engineering initiatives, with emphasis on capital automation, process reengineering, new product line design and expansion projects.

You will identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate with engineering, operations and QA, and report on project status while building strong relationships with stakeholders across Aus/NZ.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated project engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of FMCG manufacturing operations.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, operations and QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify problems or opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Manage budgets, schedules and project plans; report on status.
• Coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects; liaise with stakeholders.
