Job summary

Talison Lithium is seeking a Process Control Engineer to join the Maintenance team at Greenbushes in Western Australia. Reporting to the Lead Process Control Engineer, you will provide process control support across plant operations to ensure safe, stable, and efficient performance.

You will work on control system improvements, start-ups, shutdowns, and commissioning, collaborating with Maintenance, Operations, Metallurgy and IST teams to enhance plant performance and ensure MOC compliance with

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Industrial Automation, Control Systems, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation & Control or a related discipline.
• minimum 3 years' experience in a process control role within a processing plant or industrial environment.
• experience with PLC programming, SCADA/DCS systems and field instrumentation.
• sound understanding of process control principles, troubleshooting and system optimisation.
• strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; and
• ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day process control support across plant operations, including troubleshooting and fault finding.
• Assist with the implementation, testing and commissioning of control system improvements.
• Support optimisation of plant control strategies to improve performance and reliability.
• Maintain control system documentation and ensure compliance with Management of Change (MOC) processes.
• Assist with plant start-ups, shutdowns and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, Metallurgy and IST teams to support plant performance and improvement initiatives.
