Job summary

MinRes is seeking an experienced Processing Supervisor to join our Wodgina Lithium Operation in Western Australia. Reporting to the Processing Superintendent, you will lead a team of processing technicians and operators to meet production and quality targets on an 8D6X 7N7X roster flying from Perth.

You will oversee fixed-plant processing equipment, drive continuous improvements, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the operation in the Pilbara region.

Qualifications

• Fixed-plant mineral processing experience with spodumene flotation is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership within a processing plant environment.
• Current Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor.
• Ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong focus on safety and fostering a zero-harm culture.
• Training and assessing experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of processing technicians and operators to achieve key production and quality objectives.
• Oversee the operation of processing equipment, ensuring optimal conditions, and troubleshooting issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate both planned and unplanned maintenance activities to minimise downtime and ensure high levels of equipment reliability.
• Managing the response to breakdowns and conducting failure analysis to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Foster a work environment that promotes safety and compliance with all required regulations.
