Job summary
Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Process Control Engineer to provide day-to-day support and drive improvements across a Western Australian processing plant. You will troubleshoot, optimise control strategies and ensure MOC-compliant documentation while collaborating with maintenance and operations teams.
This role requires hands-on PLC/SCADA experience and strong communication. Based near Greenbushes, relocation within 60 minutes is preferred.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Industrial Automation, Control Systems, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Instrumentation & Control.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day process control support across plant operations, including troubleshooting and fault finding.
- Assist with implementation, testing and commissioning of control system improvements.
- Support optimisation of plant control strategies to improve performance and reliability.
- Maintain control system documentation and ensure compliance with Management of Change (MOC) processes.
- Assist with plant start-ups, shutdowns and commissioning activities.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, Metallurgy and IST teams to support plant performance and improvement initiatives.
- Report to the Lead Process Control Engineer.
- Contribute to operational support, optimisation and improvement projects.
- Ensure modifications comply with site standards and MOC requirements.
