Job summary
The GEO Group Australia is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at Fulham Correctional Centre, VIC. The role supports medication management, preparation for rounds, administration assistance and inventory control. Rotating roster includes evenings and weekends.
The successful candidate will have relevant Certificate III or healthcare qualifications, hospital or community pharmacy experience, and strong communication and IT skills. Australia-wide security and compliance are essential.
Qualifications
- Completion of dispensary/tech support modules is highly desirable.
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician in hospital or community settings is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing medications within scope of practice.
- Prepare for medication administration rounds and assist in administration.
- Help manage medication inventory and orders under supervision.
- Work within a rotating roster including weekends and shift work.
