Job summary

The GEO Group operates GEO Healthcare, providing primary healthcare to men in Victoria’s public prisons. We are seeking Pharmacy Technicians to assist with medication preparation, administration, inventory management, and ordering under supervision at Karreenga and Marngoneet Correctional Centres in Lara.

These roles are part-time, with a base salary of $65k plus super for full-time hours and pro-rata adjustment for part-time hours, plus dedicated professional development benefits and security

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and attention to detail skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparation for medication administration rounds.
Administer prescribed medications.
Assist in management of medication inventory and ordering under supervision.
Work within a prison healthcare setting delivering care to inmates.
