Job summary

Gilbert + Tobin is seeking a Print Room Operator to join the Sydney Services team. This hands-on role requires managing print and document production with accuracy and meeting tight deadlines.

You will handle high-volume printing, ensure high-quality output, and collaborate with teammates while supporting mail room duties as needed. The role runs 7:30am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, in our city office.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume print/doc production environment.
• Intermediate MS Office skills and basic typing experience.
• Experience converting Office files to PDF, including formatting Excel for printing.
• Experience using Fiery Command Workstation.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-driven approach.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organise and prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise and coordinate print and document production requests to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
• Clear communication of progress and manage expectations around deadlines.
• Use advanced printing, copying and finishing techniques to produce high-quality documents.
• Produce USBs for transaction bibles and other matter requirements.
• Check reproduced documents carefully to ensure accuracy, presentation and quality.
• Identify equipment issues, undertake basic troubleshooting and arrange service calls when required.
• Assist with Mail Room duties from time to time, including sorting mail and coordinating couriers.
• Provide general support to the broader Services team as required.
