Job summary

Kwik Kopy in Sydney is seeking a Digital Print Production assistant to prepare and impose artwork for digital print production, ensuring accuracy for each job.

You will check artwork, prepare proofs, and perform finishing tasks with Konica & Roland equipment, demonstrating strong time management and a proactive, team-focused attitude.

Digital Print Production (Pre-Press & Print Production)

Prepare and impose artwork for digital print production

Previous practical experience in a digital print production environment (Digital press and wide-format)

Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Check customer-supplied artwork, resolve production issues, and verify bleed, sizing, resolution, and colour profiles

Prepare proofs and ensure all job specifications are confirmed and accurate prior to production

Perform high-quality print finishing, including trimming, laminating, binding, mounting, and packing ( using guillotines, laminating, binding, scoring, and folding)

Read and interpret job tickets accurately, following established production processes to maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a print shop, signage business, copy centre, or production environment is advantageous.

Basic knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, or InDesign is beneficial.

A commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work with a keen eye for detail.

A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn.

You are punctual, committed to being a strong team player, and take full ownership of your tasks from start to finish.

Clear verbal and written communication skills, with a proactive approach to asking questions and raising issues early.

Experience with Konica & Roland digital equipment will be very advantageous
