Job summary

Service Stream is seeking a Principal Structural Engineering Manager to lead a national team responsible for design, assessment and certification of telecommunications structures across Australia. You will oversee technical governance, reviews of complex designs and ensure adherence to safety in design principles.

The role requires Chartered status (CPEng) and deep knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC requirements and state registration obligations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' experience in structural engineering design, assessment and certification of telecommunications structures.
• Extensive experience with towers, rooftop installations, equipment support structures and strengthening solutions.
• Minimum 5 years leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a national structural engineering team.
• Oversee resourcing, workload management and capability development.
• Review, verify and approve structural designs, assessments and certifications.
• Act as escalation point for complex engineering and site-related challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement and engineering excellence across projects.
• Maintain compliance with NCC, Australian Standards and safety in design.
