Job summary

QLeave is seeking a Principal Advisor Health, Safety and Wellbeing to act as the organisation's subject matter expert on workplace health, safety and wellbeing. You will lead the identification, assessment and management of psychosocial and physical risks, partnering with leaders to embed safety into everyday decision‑making.

This role sits in the People, Culture and Capability team, balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery, developing contemporary frameworks and tools to support

Qualifications

• Experience leading workplace health, safety and wellbeing initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of psychosocial risk management and modern WHS practices.
• Ability to influence, coach and build capability across leadership levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership and specialist advice across WHS portfolio.
• Build capability in psychosocial risk assessment and hazard identification.
• Develop practical solutions with leaders to improve safety and wellbeing outcomes.
• Strengthen health and safety governance, reporting and assurance practices.
• Develop contemporary policies, procedures, tools and resources.
• Drive initiatives that promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement.
• Monitor legislative changes and industry best practices to stay proactive.
