Job summary

Aruma is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to provide practical WHS guidance across services. You will partner with operational leaders to promote a positive safety culture, support compliance with legislation, and drive risk management.

Duties include site visits, incident investigations, and continuous improvement. The role focuses on building capability, coaching leaders, and delivering safety initiatives to create safe, healthy, and inclusive workplaces for employees and the

Qualifications

• Certificate IV, Diploma or higher qualification in Work Health & Safety (or related field).
• Experience in a WHS Advisor or generalist safety role.
• Knowledge of incident investigation methodologies such as ICAM (or willingness to obtain training).
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
• Experience managing risk, compliance, incident response and workplace investigations.

Responsibilities

• Provide WHS advice, coaching and support to managers and frontline teams.
• Conduct site visits and audits across service locations.
• Investigate incidents and identify corrective actions to reduce risk.
• Support compliance with WHS legislation and organisational requirements.
• Deliver and promote safety initiatives, training and continuous improvement activities.
