Job summary

Aruma is seeking a WHS Advisor to provide practical guidance on workplace health, safety and wellbeing across our services. You will partner with operational leaders to promote a positive safety culture and drive risk management with site visits, investigations and continuous improvement.

The role focuses on coaching leaders, building capability and ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, with responsibilities spanning risk management, incident response and safe, inclusive workplaces.

Qualifications

• Certification in Work Health & Safety (or related field) is required.
• Experience as WHS Advisor or generalist safety role is essential.
• Knowledge of incident investigation methodologies (e.g., ICAM) or willingness to obtain training.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills required.
• Experience managing risk, compliance, incident response and workplace investigations.

Responsibilities

• Provide WHS advice, coaching and support to managers and frontline teams.
• Conduct site visits and audits across service locations.
• Investigate incidents and identify corrective actions to reduce risk.
• Support compliance with WHS legislation and organisational requirements.
• Deliver and promote safety initiatives, training and continuous improvement activities.
