Job summary

QLeave is seeking a Principal Advisor Health, Safety and Wellbeing to be the organisation's subject matter expert on workplace health, safety and wellbeing. You will progress QLeave's current health and safety portfolio by strengthening the way we identify, assess and manage psychosocial and physical risks across the organisation.

You'll work closely with leaders to build confidence and capability, ensuring health and safety responsibilities are understood, practical and embedded into everyday

Qualifications

• Experience in workplace health, safety and wellbeing leadership or advisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary WHS practices, especially psychosocial risk management.
• Ability to influence, coach and build capability across leadership levels.
• Experience developing frameworks, policies, systems and practical tools that drive positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership and specialist advice across QLeave's health, safety and wellbeing portfolio.
• Build organisational capability in psychosocial risk assessment and hazard identification.
• Partner with leaders to develop practical solutions that improve safety, wellbeing and compliance outcomes.
• Strengthen health and safety governance, reporting and assurance practices.
• Develop and implement contemporary policies, procedures, tools and resources.
• Drive initiatives that promote a positive safety culture, wellbeing and continuous improvement.
• Monitor emerging risks, legislative changes and industry best practice to ensure QLeave remains responsive and proactive.
