Job summary

BHP's Copper SA is seeking a Principal Training Projects to lead end-to-end delivery of major training programs across Copper SA. The role reports to the Manager – Training, Copper SA and offers a strategic leadership path shaping workforce capability.

Based in Adelaide, South Australia on a Monday to Friday roster with occasional travel to Copper SA operations. You will partner with Operations, HR, Training, Talent Acquisition and external providers to translate strategic priorities into

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading complex projects, programs or organizational initiatives from planning through to implementation.
• Strong governance, risk management, budgeting, scheduling and reporting capability.
• Experience across multiple sites and stakeholder groups with change management.
• Understanding of workforce capability development and training compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution and deployment of strategic training projects across Copper SA.
• Develop governance frameworks, schedules and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Prepare business cases for training investment and integrated solutions.
• Monitor performance, track benefits realisation and report to executives.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR, Training, Talent Acquisition and education providers.
