Job summary

BHP Group in Adelaide is seeking a Contractor Management Specialist within our Integrated Services team for Copper SA, reporting to the Copper SA Contractor Management Superintendent. You will drive asset-wide improvements, strengthen governance, and uplift contractor management capabilities across tools and processes.

Work closely with site stakeholders, Contract Owners and Senior Leaders to enhance effectiveness, deliver governance, coaching and training, and enable sustainable contractor

Qualifications

• Experience in contractor management, including as a Contract Owner or similar role.
• Proven project, stakeholder and change management, governance and continuous improvement delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Well organized, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Advanced MS Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Audits experience and leading technology system projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as custodian of the Copper SA IMS 11.1 Contractor Management Standard and related tools and systems.
• Develop and manage project plans for process improvements and updates to docs, tools, and systems.
• Lead change through collaboration, stakeholder engagement and leadership.
• Deliver implementation plans, workshops, training, and capture customer feedback.
• Conduct site and asset level verification and assurance activities.
• Provide coaching and upskilling on contractor management processes and tools.
• Drive standardisation through the Copper SA Contractor Management Working Group.
