AECOM invites a Principal Power Systems Engineer to join our Resources, Industrial, Advisory and Program Management team in Australia. You will lead grid-connection studies for utility-scale renewables and mining projects, building robust models and advising on compliant designs.

You will work across NWPS/NWIS regional networks, mentor junior engineers, and help drive decarbonisation with advanced systems analysis and client-focused solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with major in power systems.
• 5+ years (Senior) or 8+ years (Principal) in grid compliance and system modelling.
• Experience with grid scale renewables (wind/solar/battery) connected to Australian networks.

Responsabilidades

• Lead steady-state and dynamic studies for islanded and weak power systems.
• Develop methodologies and scenarios for power-system assessments.
• Engage with asset owners, network service providers, and regional system bodies.
• Lead technical workstreams, mentor engineers, and contribute to proposals.
