Job summary

Stanmore Resources Limited is seeking a Principal Mining Engineer for the Isaac Plains Complex. You will drive mine design, scheduling, and risk mitigation while aligning short-term actions with long-term corporate plans.

The role requires leadership alongside site operations and technical teams to optimise haulage and sequencing across open pit operations. Experience in large open pit mining, including dragline operations, and a strong safety culture are essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of value drivers in large open pit mining operations.

Responsibilities

• Run short to mid-term scenarios, including optimisation of haulage strategies.
• Develop and maintain site scheduling models for option analysis.
• Identify and mitigate plan risks, minimising production disruption.
• Work with operations teams to ensure short-term alignment to long-term strategy.
• Collaborate with site operations and technical teams to drive governance of mine design and scheduling.
