Job summary

Parity Consulting is seeking a Principal Data Architect for a 3-month contract in Sydney with a not-for-profit private health insurer. You will collaborate with the Head of Strategy, Data and AI to guide platform uplift and architecture.

In this senior role, you will shape enterprise data architecture across cloud and on-premises environments, mentor data engineering and BI teams, and translate complex business needs into scalable, governance-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience at Principal or Senior Data Architect level.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture in regulated or compliance-heavy environments.
• Experience across cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Solid understanding of data governance, security and privacy requirements.
• Experience in health insurance, financial services or government is highly regarded.
• Ability to hit the ground running and operate effectively in a part-time contract capacity.

A well established not for profit private health insurer is looking for an experienced Principal Data Architect to join the team on a 3 month contract basis at 3 days per week.This is a senior hands on engagement working closely with the Head of Strategy, Data and AI to provide architectural guidance and direction during a critical period of platform and capability uplift.
