Job summary

Autodesk APAC Consulting Services seeks a Principal Business Consultant for construction to drive digital and data strategies with strategic customers. You will define success criteria, assess processes, justify value, and prepare implementations to deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure adoption and maximize value from Autodesk technologies, contributing to change management and program-level alignment. This is a hybrid role with global travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or architecture / engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of five (5) years of hands‑on experience in the construction industry, with a focus on the development and delivery of digital solutions.
• Experience of construction industry processes such as Document Management / Project Management / Quality Management / Safety Management / Handover / Scheduling / Cost Management.
• Excellent communication skills including experience conducting workshops, facilitating meetings, and delivering impactful presentations.
• Ability to drive decisions and closure on issues.
• Proven ability to work with diverse technical, sales, and project delivery teams including breaking down complex topics into a common language.
• Willingness to travel 30% of the time, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Work with Autodesk’s largest customers on innovative construction solutions related to document management, data management, field workflows, handover/ turnover and more.
• Analysis, improvement and implementation of processes and workflows.
• Lead consulting engagements with customers, including discovery process to understand business challenges and requirements and document the proposed value during those engagements.
• Contribute to task estimation and scoping including scope clarification with customers.
• Apply change management knowledge to the deployment of Autodesk solutions.
• Collaborate with internal account teams and customers on how Autodesk solutions fit into broader programs of work.
• Be a 'trusted advisor' to the customer.
• Keep updated with technology trends affecting customers.
• Represent Autodesk solutions at conferences, in whitepapers and blogs.
