Brighter Super is seeking an experienced analytics leader to shape and drive our analytics capability. Reporting to the Head of Analytics & AI, you will combine strategic leadership with hands-on delivery to turn complex business questions into actionable insights that improve decision‑making and member outcomes.

You will lead a high‑performing team, champion a Databricks‑first approach, evolve the Lakehouse, and deliver data products that create lasting value across the organisation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Brighter Super’s analytics function, driving insight, reporting, self‑service analytics and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with business leaders to understand challenges, shape solutions and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Own and prioritise the analytics backlog, ensuring high‑quality and timely delivery.
• Lead and develop a team of analytics professionals, fostering capability, collaboration and innovation.
• Drive the evolution of our Databricks Lakehouse environment and reusable data products.
• Deliver hands‑on analytics solutions across discovery, modelling, visualisation, deployment and adoption.
• Champion modern data practices including governance, automation, CI/CD, testing and AI‑assisted delivery.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and help grow data literacy and self‑service capability across the fund.

About your new Role:

This is a rare opportunity to lead and shape Brighter Super’s analytics capability at a pivotal time in our data and AI journey. Reporting to the Head of Analytics & AI, you’ll combine strategic leadership with hands‑on delivery, helping turn complex business questions into meaningful insights that improve decision‑making and member outcomes. Leading a high‑performing team, you'll champion a Databricks‑first approach, drive the analytics roadmap, and build trusted data products that create lasting value across the organisation.

About You:

You are an experienced analytics leader who thrives on solving complex business problems and influencing decision‑making through data. With a strong consulting and stakeholder engagement background, you're equally comfortable leading teams, partnering with senior leaders and rolling up your sleeves to deliver solutions yourself. You bring a commercial mindset, a passion for data‑driven outcomes, and the ability to translate technical concepts into meaningful business value.

• Extensive experience leading analytics teams and delivering enterprise‑wide data and reporting solutions.
• Strong consulting capability, including discovery, problem‑solving, stakeholder engagement and solution design.
• Proven people leadership experience with a focus on coaching, development and team performance.
• Deep expertise in SQL and strong practical experience with Python.
• Recent hands‑on experience with Databricks, including Lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake and governed data products.
• Advanced Power BI skills, including semantic modelling, DAX, security and performance optimisation.
• Experience driving data governance, data quality, reporting standards and reusable metrics.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence executive, business and technical audiences.
