Clayton South Primary School is seeking a classroom teacher with specialist STEM/Science capabilities and experience delivering literacy and numeracy interventions. The role focuses on planning, preparation and teaching to achieve student outcomes, with collaborative PLCs to analyse data and implement targeted teaching strategies.

The position may require responsibilities beyond rostered teaching duties and supports school priorities through policy implementation and staff development.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of the curriculum and explicit literacy/numeracy teaching.
• Experience delivering Science/STEM as a specialist subject across primary levels.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning with data-informed feedback.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, parents and staff.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning to improve teaching quality.

Responsabilidades

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to development and evaluation of a curriculum area or program.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related duties as directed by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
