Job summary

Strathfieldsaye Primary School in Victoria seeks a dynamic classroom teacher to contribute to the school program across Range 1 and Range 2 roles. Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 in Science, Technologies and Mathematics.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging STEM programs using evidence-based pedagogical practices.
• Experience in assessing and monitoring student learning, using data to inform teaching.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, colleagues and the school community.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to curriculum development, implementation and evaluation within the school.
• Undertake other classroom teaching and organisational duties as determined by the Principal.
• Mentor/coach other teachers and supervise student teachers.
• Use student data to inform teaching approaches to improve student learning outcomes.
