Dillbadin Primary School in Boronia, Victoria, is seeking a Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader for 0.8 FTE, Tue–Fri, with a two-hour teaching allocation each week. The role partners with the Principal to strengthen the school’s whole-school approach to wellbeing, engagement and inclusion.

The successful applicant will lead wellbeing practices, collaborate with staff and families, and support Disability Inclusion and Staff development to improve outcomes for students.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to inform and influence staff and families involved in student wellbeing and learning.
• Ability to develop, implement and evaluate processes relating to mental health, wellbeing or learning.
• Experience collaborating with external services and specialists to support students.

Responsabilités

• Lead whole-school mental health and wellbeing practices, including prevention and early intervention.
• Support the development and effectiveness of the Wellbeing Team.
• Sustain SWPBS implementation with staff understanding and consistency.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create practical strategies for engagement and inclusion.
• Coordinate Disability Inclusion profiles and make reasonable classroom adjustments.
• Coach staff through professional conversations and collaborative problem-solving.
• Engage with families and external agencies to align coordinated supports for students.
• Monitor priorities, progress and evaluate the impact of supports across the school.
