The Department of Education Victoria seeks a Classroom Teacher at Heathmont East Primary School to plan, prepare and teach programs that achieve targeted student outcomes. The role emphasizes data-informed practice, collaboration with students, parents and colleagues, and ongoing professional learning.

Successful candidates will contribute to school priorities, support student wellbeing and engage with diverse communities within Heathmont East PS.

Formación

• Proven ability to teach literacy and numeracy with high-impact strategies.
• Experience using student data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Strong collaboration with students, parents and school staff.

Responsabilidades

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to development and evaluation of curriculum programs within the school.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related duties as determined by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties as required.
