Job summary

Nine is seeking a Pricing Lead to shape the commercial trajectory and digital transformation of our Publishing division. You will lead pricing strategies for subscriptions, own analytics, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence executive decisions.

You will design pricing experiments, build advanced models, and monitor market conditions to protect profitability across Nine’s portfolio of iconic channels. A strong background in pricing analytics within media is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in pricing or commercial analytics within media, subscription, finance, or top-tier consulting.
• Advanced Excel modelling skills with extensive experience managing complex datasets.
• Proven ability to translate complex financial and technical data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy for subscription pricing and entitlements to drive Nine’s digital transformation.
• Own and elevate commercial pricing analytics to guide executive decision-making.
• Build, maintain, and continuously refine pricing models and analytics.
• Monitor market conditions and competitor activity to assess pricing, volume and margin impacts.
• Design, evaluate, and learn from pricing experiments using data-driven lookbacks.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to turn data into pricing insights and inform business cases.
