Job summary

Barrel & Batch is seeking a Store Manager to lead a premium retail store, delivering exceptional service to collectors and high-value clients. You will manage daily operations, curate a curated wine and whisky selection, and drive sales growth.

The role requires 3–7 years in luxury retail or hospitality, strong leadership, and deep product knowledge of wine regions and vintages. Weekend work is expected in a high-end environment.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years' experience in retail management, ideally within luxury retail, fine wine, or hospitality.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to analyse sales data and drive growth.
• Proven ability to recruit, train and mentor a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and store security.
• Curate and manage premium wine/whisky inventory and rare releases.
• Lead, train and develop a knowledgeable, service-focused team.
