Job summary

Telum is seeking a Production Supervisor for a busy precast concrete facility in Dandenong South. You will lead a small team of 3–6 production staff, supervise daily production, safety, quality and scheduling, and drive continuous improvement.

The role is hands-on with strong emphasis on safety, quality control and meeting production targets. Trade qualification or engineering background is highly regarded, with growth opportunities in a growing Australian manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Experience in precast concrete manufacturing is essential.
• Proven track record in production supervision.
• Ability to lead 3–6 staff and organise labour.
• Strong safety and quality focus with risk awareness.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Trade qualification or engineering background highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily precast production.
• Lead and support a team of 3–6 production staff.
• Organise labour and production schedules.
• Conduct toolbox talks and maintain safety standards.
• Monitor product quality and ensure specifications are met.
• Carry out quality checks and inspections.
• Coordinate maintenance and resolve production issues.
• Train, coach and develop team members.
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved.
