Job summary

Direct Personnel seeks multiple reliable Precast Labourers for a hands-on role in Redhead, NSW. You will support from preparing moulds to moving finished products, with daytime hours and weekends free.

Experience in precast or concrete helps, and you should be physically capable of heavy manual handling. The role offers a clear pathway to a permanent position and weekly pay through Direct Personnel.

Qualifications

• Previous precast or concrete experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Rendering or concrete finishing experience is highly regarded.
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy manual handling outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean and oil moulds and formwork ahead of each pour.
• Assist with concrete pours, vibrating and levelling.
• Finish, patch and render precast panels and products.
• Strip moulds once products have cured.
• Move and stack finished products safely.
• Keep the yard and work areas clean, organised and safe.

Join a leading Newcastle precast facility offering full-time hours, overtime, and long-term opportunities.

Direct Personnel are looking for multiple reliable Precast Labourers to join a precast concrete operation in Redhead, NSW.

This is a hands-on production role. You'll support the team through each stage of the precast process, from preparing moulds through to finishing and moving completed products around the yard. It's physical work, done during the day, and your weekends stay free.

If you've worked in precast, concrete or rendering before, or you're a hard worker who wants to learn a trade-based skill, we'd like to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing, cleaning and oiling moulds and formwork ahead of each pour
• Helping with concrete pours, vibrating and levelling
• Finishing, patching and rendering precast panels and products
• Stripping moulds once products have cured
• Helping to move and stack finished products safely
• Keeping the yard and work areas clean, organised and safe

What We Need from You

• Previous precast or concrete experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Rendering or concrete finishing experience (highly regarded)
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy manual handling in outdoor conditions
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
• Own steel-capped boots
• Ability to pass a pre-Employment medical and drug & alcohol test
• Full Australian working rights
