Job summary

Solidcast Pty Ltd in Wauchope, NSW, is expanding its factory team and seeks skilled concreters and formworkers for producing precast concrete panels and structural precast elements. Roles cover concrete placing, finishing, formwork, reading drawings, and on-site reinforcement installation.

Ideal candidates will have concrete or formwork experience, strong attention to detail, ability to read plans, and reliable attendance. Trade qualifications are advantageous but not essential.

Job description

Solidcast is a growing precast concrete manufacturer based in Wauchope, NSW. We are expanding our factory team and are looking for experienced concreters and formworkers who take pride in producing high-quality work.

These are factory-based roles working on the manufacture of precast concrete panels and other structural precast elements.

The Roles

We are looking for skilled people with experience in one or more of the following:

• Concrete placing, vibrating, screeding and finishing
• High-quality concrete finishing and remedial work
• Formwork and mould construction
• Reading drawings and setting out
• Installing cast-in items, ferrules and reinforcement
• Precast concrete manufacture
• Carpentry or formwork carpentry
• General precast factory operations

What We're Looking For

We want people who are experienced, reliable and productive.

Ideally, you will have:

• Strong concreting and/or formwork experience
• Good attention to detail and pride in the finished product
• Ability to read plans and work accurately
• Experience working independently as well as part of a production team
• A strong understanding of workplace safety

Precast experience is highly regarded but not essential if you are a skilled concreter, formworker or carpenter with transferable experience.

Trade qualifications are advantageous, but demonstrated skill and experience are more important to us than qualifications alone.
