Job summary

Workforce International is seeking an experienced Leading Hand for precast production in Redhead, NSW. The role requires leading teams of 6+ within industrial manufacturing, with a view to permanency for the right candidate.

The position offers $43.93/hour base plus $1.85/hourly leading hand allowance, with regular overtime and penalties. 5 days per week (Mon-Fri), immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a leading hand or supervisor.
• Experience in precast concrete with strong safety knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Must pass pre-employment medical including a D&A screening.
• Hold a valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Lead precast mould production teams to ensure efficient output.
• Provide hands-on support for the team.
• Ensure the product quality meets standards.
• Guide the team to maintain safe work practices at all times.
• Experience with pre-stressed moulds is desirable but not necessary.

Workforce International are seeking an experienced and highly driven Leading Hand for works in the Precast industry. This role would suit someone with demonstrated experience leading teams of 6 or more within the industrial manufacturing or building & construction space.

About the role:

$43.93/hour + $1.85/hourly leading hand allowance

5 days per week (Mon-Fri)

View to permanency for the right candidate

Duties may include:

Manage and lead teams on precast moulds to ensure efficient production

Providing hands on support for the team

Ensuring the quality of the product meets standards

Guiding the team to ensure safe work at all times

Experience working on pre-stressed moulds is desirable however not necessary

A successful candidate will:

Have at least 2 years experience as a leading hand or supervisor

Have demonstrated experience working in precast concrete, with strong knowledge of concreting, steel fixing and safety standards

Possess the ability to read and interpret drawings

Be able to satisfy a pre-employment medical including a D&A screening

Have valid drivers licence and reliable transport
