Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial print or pre-press environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PDF workflows, preflight, imposition, and print production.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).

Responsibilities

• Receive and check customer artwork and files for print suitability.
• Preflight PDFs and artwork, identifying issues with fonts, images, bleeds, colour, resolution, and page setup.
• Prepare files for digital production, including imposition, trapping, bleeds, crop marks, and colour management.
• Make minor artwork corrections and adjustments where required.
• Set up and operate digital production presses and finishing equipment.
• Load and manage paper and substrates according to job specifications.
• Monitor print quality throughout production and make adjustments as required.
• Inspect printed material for colour consistency, registration, image quality, defects, and finishing accuracy.
• Assist with cutting, folding, creasing, binding, laminating, and other finishing processes.
