Job summary

Vertu Equipment Victoria Pty Limited in Dandenong is seeking a Pre-Delivery/Workshop Assistant to help move and position vehicles and equipment, maintain the yard, and assist the pre-delivery technician and wider team.

You will learn and perform vehicle prep, basic checks, loading/unloading, and support sales, service and operations. A hands-on, outdoors role with a friendly, practical team and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and willing to work.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in a hands-on environment.
• Physically fit and able to carry out general yard duties.
• Organised and able to follow instructions.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Friendly and professional when dealing with customers and staff.
• Current Victorian Driver Licence (preferred).
• Forklift Licence (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with the movement and positioning of vehicles and equipment within the yard.
• Keep the yard clean, organised and safe.
• Wash, clean and prepare vehicles/equipment for display or delivery.
• Assist Pre Delivery technician when needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading where required.
• Carry out basic checks and report any damage or issues.
• Support the team with vehicle/equipment handovers and general yard duties.
• Assist with stock movements and maintaining accurate yard locations.
• Provide general assistance to the sales, service and operations teams as required.

About the role

Pre-Delivery/Workshop Assistant role at Vertu Equipment, a distributor of SANY construction equipment. You will assist with the movement and positioning of vehicles and equipment, yard maintenance, vehicle preparation, and support to the pre-delivery technician and wider team.
