Job summary

SANY Group, a global leader in construction equipment, seeks two Excavator Service Engineers in Australia (Perth and Sydney) to join our service team. You will deliver on-site maintenance, diagnostics and after-sales support for excavators and related machinery, ensuring high equipment reliability.

You will work closely with customers and internal teams to minimise downtime, perform preventive maintenance, and provide technical assessments while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, Plant Mechanics or a related field.
• Proven experience in servicing and repairing excavators or other heavy mobile equipment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of heavy machinery.
• Ability to work independently and provide field service support.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs on excavators and other heavy machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical system faults.
• Provide on-site technical support and after-sales service to customers.
• Conduct equipment commissioning, preventative maintenance and technical assessments.
• Identify equipment faults and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
• Respond to customer service requests and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Work closely with the sales, parts and service teams to support business operations.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.

As part of our continued growth in Australia, we are seeking two experienced and motivated Excavator Service Engineers to join our growing team, with one position based in Perth, Western Australia, and the other in Sydney, New South Wales.

About the Role

The successful candidates will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting and after-sales service for SANY excavators and other construction equipment.
