Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Queensland seeks a Field Engineer to support Superintendents with work scope packages and cost estimates for project preassembly. You will ensure field engineering activities comply with safety and quality standards through effective coordination.

Preferred candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree and significant civil/structural construction experience, particularly in process plants within Australia. Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years relevant experience or 9–12 years work experience, with at least 5 years in civil/structural construction.
• Experience in engineering of process plants in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Support construction Superintendents with work scope packages and cost estimates.
• Coordinate all issues related to structural and piping execution.
• Prepare field material requisitions and monitor status of deliveries.
• Document inspections for structural, piping, and electrical work scopes.
• Verify alignment with material delivery schedules and project milestones.
