Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Perth, WA invites a seasoned Program Construction Manager to oversee field engineering across multiple projects. You will assure safety, quality, and conformance to capital portfolio expectations while coordinating with engineering and support teams on delivery priorities.

The role requires leading reviews of submittals, schedules, and contractor performance, and providing technical guidance to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in managing major infrastructure/aviation projects.
Knowledge of construction practices and new design/construction methods.
Strong leadership and communication abilities in a large organisation.

Responsibilities

Coordinate contractor quantity take-offs review, reporting and forecasting.
Review contractor submittals, progress reports and performance.
Interface with engineering, health & safety and other teams to maintain delivery priorities.
Implement assurance programs addressing hazards and required risk analyses.
Manage contractor submittals, schedules, and changes.
Establish design/field engineering communication with project engineering.
Provide technical support to internal stakeholders and assess constructability and contract compliance.
Ensure contractor field engineering meets contract requirements and delivers consistent tooling.
Guide program teams in submittal/review processes for documentation, test plans, and reports.
Identify and resolve program-wide field engineering issues.
Ensure contractor execution aligns with contract terms.
