Job summary

Tassal Group is seeking casual Farm Attendants for our Mission Beach Prawn Farm. You will support daily pond operations, monitor water quality, and help ensure prawn health in Australia’s leading seafood company. This hands-on role requires safety focus and teamwork.

Applicants should be comfortable with physical outdoor work, hold a valid driver’s licence, and be able to pass a pre-employment medical check. Training on equipment is provided.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with physical outdoor work in hot, humid environments.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily pond operations, feeding, aeration, and water quality checks.
• Support health assessments and biosecurity for optimal growth.
• Maintain farm records using iPads and digital systems.
• Operate farm equipment; training provided; prior experience advantageous.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety protocols.
• Work across day, afternoon, night shifts and weekends.
