Job summary

Tassal Group in Proserpine is seeking a Feed Technician - Night Shift to support our prawn farming operations. You will work with farming teams, fill feed trucks, and ensure feed is distributed to AQ1 feeders while upholding safety and quality standards.

Prior aquaculture experience isn’t required; on-the-job training is provided. This full-time fixed-term role runs through the prawn season, offering a lifestyle roster 2/2/3 and the chance to grow with Australia’s leading prawn producer.

Qualifications

• Current manual driver's licence and own transport to site.
• High risk licence (desirable).
• Forklift licence (desirable).
• Great attention to detail.
• Comfortable with technology and tablet apps.
• Familiar with working night shifts.
• Reliable and capable of committing to the full prawn season.

Responsibilities

• Fill feed trucks and distribute feed to AQ1 feeders.
• Ensure optimal feed management and follow safety procedures.
