Job summary

Family Doctor Pty Ltd – Lemon Tree Passage NSW is seeking a part-time Practice Nurse to join Lemon Tree Medical Practice, a welcoming General Practice where staff development is encouraged.

You will be registered with AHPRA and experienced in busy GP settings, with immunisations, wound care, chronic disease management and health assessments. The role requires autonomy, good communication and a team focus.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration is required.
• Experience in busy General Practice or primary health settings preferred.
• Experience with Chronic Disease Management and Health Assessments is an advantage.
• Ability to perform general practice nurse duties including immunisations, procedure assistance, wound dressing, and stock ordering.
• Demonstrated ability to care for diverse patient groups and ages.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Experience using Best Practice software is beneficial.

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a practice nurse to provide expert care and build their skills in a General Practice where all staff are supported in their learning and development. We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic, and dynamic nurse who is passionate about patient education and has excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will have:

• Current AHPRA Registration.
• Background working in a busy General Practice and/or primary health setting.
• Experience in Chronic Disease Management and Health Assessments (an advantage).
• The ability to perform all general practice nurse duties, such as immunisations, procedure assistance, wound dressing, stock ordering, etc.
