Job summary

Bentley in Brisbane is seeking a Practice Manager to take ownership of systems, workflow and capacity across the firm. You will oversee the client and lodgement processes, and provide support to the Director, with genuine influence over daily operations.

The role suits a senior administrator or manager with at least 5 years in Australian public practice accounting, strong Xero proficiency, and a passion for implementing efficient systems and automation.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in the Australian public practice accounting sector.
• Strong managerial abilities with the ability to meet competing deadlines.
• Experience implementing new systems and processes.

The Opportunity

Join one of Brisbane's most well respected boutique accounting firms. They are seeking a the Practice Manager to take responsibility for managing systems, workflow and capacity. This is a key role which will provide you with genuine ownership and influence across the business and it’s operation. It could also be suited to a senior level Administrator.

The Role

You will work across the business in a number of key areas. Your main focus will be:

• Managing workflow
• Allocating work across the team
• Managing the client process
• Managing the lodgement process
• Managing and assessing weekly reporting
• Assessing and implementation of process improvements
• Manage WIP and debtors
• Providing support to Director when required

About You

Ideally you will have at least 5 years of experience working in the public practice accounting sector within Australia. You will be confident, focussed and have strong managerial abilities. You will also have:

• Experience using Xero
• A background in implementing new systems and processes
• A passion for system improvement and automation
• Ability to meet competing deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a small tight knit team
