Candor Recruitment is partnering with a well-established accounting firm on Sydney's North Shore seeking a confident Practice Manager to lead the operations and staff across a busy public practice. This role involves collaborating with another experienced Practice Manager, driving process improvements and ensuring high-quality client service in a collaborative leadership environment.

The successful candidate will manage workflow, billing, WIP, onboarding and recruitment, while shaping

Practice Manager / Operations - Public Practice

We are partnering with a well-established and highly regarded accounting firm with approximately 60 staff across their business. We are recruiting an experienced Practice Manager for their North Shore office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and commercially minded Practice Manager who enjoys leading people, improving processes and being a key operational leader within a successful public practice accounting environment. Importantly, you will work alongside another experienced Practice Manager who manages a separate administration team, providing strong support and a collaborative leadership structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the accounting staff

Experience

• 5 Years experience working within a public practice accounting firm.
• Previous experience as a Practice Manager, Operations Manager or similar leadership role within an accounting environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and develop staff, including performance management and team coordination.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to improve processes, drive efficiencies and support business performance.
• Experience managing or working with offshore/overseas support staff, with strong communication and people management skills across distributed teams.
