You will work closely with the Practice Principal, doctors, nurses, and administration staff to ensure compliant, smooth operations and ongoing service quality. The role offers strong career growth within a respected practice.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Practice Manager or in a senior healthcare management role.
• Knowledge of Medicare, MBS billing, and private billing.
• Experience with RACGP accreditation and quality improvement.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Strong financial management and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the medical practice.
• Lead, supervise, recruit, and support clinical and administrative staff.
• Ensure compliance with RACGP Standards, Medicare requirements, and relevant legislation.
• Manage accreditation processes and quality improvement activities.
• Monitor practice performance, budgeting, financial reporting, and payroll.
• Oversee Medicare billing, private billing, and accounts.
• Develop and implement practice policies and procedures.
• Coordinate staff training, inductions, and performance management.
• Manage rostering, leave planning, and workforce requirements.
• Liaise with external organisations including Primary Health Networks, allied health providers, suppliers, and government agencies.
