Job summary

National Dental Care is seeking a hands-on Practice Manager to lead our Toowoomba 4-chair practice during a 12-month maternity leave cover. You’ll supervise a capable team of dental assistants and receptionists, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and high standards of patient care.

In this role you’ll partner with the clinical team and Practice Development Manager to drive performance, growth, and an engaging, patient‑focused culture. The position offers a 9‑Day Fortnight.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a growing dental practice (ideally 2+ years) as a Dental Practice Manager.
• Strong leadership skills to inspire a high-performing team.
• Foundation in sales, business development, marketing, and customer service.
• Ability to troubleshoot, prioritise, and multitask with a proactive mindset.

About the Role

As our Practice Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the seamless operation of our well-established 4 chair Toowoomba practice. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll partner with the clinical team and the Practice Development Manager to ensure our practice runs smoothly and patients receive top-tier care. This is a full‑time maternity leave cover position commencing in October 2026 through to January 2027. For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to continue in an ongoing 2IC (Second‑in‑Charge) role following the contract.
