Job summary

Next Practice East Perth is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to ensure smooth clinic workflows, high-quality patient care and efficient business operations. You will partner with the Clinical Director to provide administrative leadership, staff management and marketing support, maintaining top-level standards of operation.

You will lead a capable team, optimise patient access and care coordination, and drive recruitment, accreditation, and facilities management in a modern AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in a similar role (practice management).
• Qualification in Health Administration or Health Services Management preferred.
• Proficiency in healthcare software and practice management tools, including Microsoft Office.
• Effective communication, strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Experience coaching, mentoring and staff recruitment and performance management.
• Good business acumen with experience working to targets, KPIs and rostering.

Job description

As Practice Manager you will ensure seamless clinic workflows, excellent patient care and productive business operations. Working together with the Clinical Director you will ensure provision of exceptional support services to medical providers and patients. You will contribute to the organisation's success by providing administrative management, staff management and marketing while ensuring the highest standards of operation are always maintained.

Key responsibilities

Lead, supervise, mentor and develop a high performing practice team

Oversee patient access, care coordination and offer empathetic solutions to patient concerns to improve patient care, experience and feedback

Effectively organise and manage the recruitment and selection of staff

Ensure the practice achieves and maintains accreditation, complies with quality and safety standards and other legislative requirements

Oversee management of the facility, equipment maintenance and inventories

About you

Minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in a similar role (practice management)

Qualification in Health Administration, Health Services Management would be preferred

Proficiency in healthcare software, practice management tools including Microsoft office

Effective communication, strong leadership and organisational skills

Demonstrated experience in effective staff management including coaching, mentoring, performance management and recruitment

Good business and commercial acumen with experience in working to set targets, KPIs and rostering

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and the ability to multitask

A proactive, flexible, and problem-solving attitude
