Job summary

Port Coogee Family Practice and Sanctuary Wellness & Medical Centre is seeking a Multisite Practice Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across two locations in Western Australia. You will lead reception and administration, coordinate staff, manage budgets and compliance, and partner with district management to drive improvements.

The role requires senior practice management experience, strong Medicare/MBS/PRODA knowledge, and HR and payroll capabilities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated senior medical practice management experience.
• Strong understanding of Medicare, MBS, PRODA and medical billing processes.
• HR experience including recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
• Financial literacy, including budgeting and managing practice accounts.
• Knowledge of the HPSS Award, Nurses Award and relevant employment legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and develop high-performing reception and administration teams across both locations.
• Support approximately 8 GPs across the two practices, together with nursing and allied health teams.
• Build a positive, professional and collaborative workplace culture.
• Manage staff rosters, workflows and day-to-day practice operations.
• Support GPs and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, contracts and performance management, with support from district management.
• Oversee financial processes, billing, batching, PIP/WIP and associated administration.
• Monitor practice performance, budgets, accounts and key operational measures.
• Maintain Medicare, MBS and PRODA compliance
• Coordinate and maintain practice accreditation and regulatory requirements

Job description

As Multisite Practice Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of both Port Coogee Family Practice and Sanctuary Wellness & Medical Centre, ensuring the smooth, efficient and professional delivery of services. This is a hands-on leadership role combining people management, operational oversight, financial management, compliance and strategic thinking. You will work closely with GPs, nurses, allied health professionals, administration teams and district management, while having the autonomy to identify opportunities, improve processes and drive meaningful change.

Key responsibilities

Lead, inspire and develop high-performing reception and administration teams across both locations

Support approximately 8 GPs across the two practices, together with nursing and allied health teams

Manage staff rosters, workflows and day-to-day practice operations

About you
