Sydney Tools is seeking a Power Tool Service Technician (Repairer) to join our team in Lismore NSW. You will repair cordless, electric and hydraulic power tools and equipment, liaising with internal and external customers.

We want technicians with electrical or mechanical background who can work in a hands on fast paced environment. You will repair brands including – Makita, Milwaukee, Bosch, De Walt, Hitachi, Yamaha, and Chicago, amongst others, liaising with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in compressor repairs.
• Petrol motor repair experience is highly regarded.
• Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.
• Self motivated and reliable.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage timelines.
• Adaptable to changing situations.
• Competent computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Liaise with internal and external customers.
• Communicate with suppliers and prepare paperwork.
• Maintain stock of parts.
• Diagnose and make repairs on cordless, electric and hydraulic power tools and equipment.
• Disassemble tools and use testing devices to identify problems.
• Use technical manuals to determine required replacement parts and assemble tools.
• Repair defective mechanical parts and rewiring electrical systems, including soldering or coating wires for proper installation.
• Competent computer skills required.
