Job summary

KBR is seeking a Team Lead – Senior Technical Advisor in Melbourne to guide a power systems team of engineers and drafters on major infrastructure projects. You will direct investigations, designs, specifications and technical services while mentoring staff, optimizing resources and delivering on schedule and budget.

You will foster strong client relationships, support business development and lead proposal efforts, contributing to growth and capability development across the team.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership of electrical engineering teams.
• Strong management in power systems design and delivery.
• Experience delivering multidisciplinary projects to budget, schedule and quality.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Experience with proposal development and project management.
• Ability to coach engineers, designers and drafters.
• Proactive business development and client engagement.
• 20+ years of industry leadership highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of electrical engineers and drafters delivering investigations, designs, specifications and technical services for major infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical direction, mentor engineers, manage resources and oversee project performance.
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to proposal development and strategic client engagement.
