Job summary

KBR is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer in Melbourne to lead the design and delivery of complex structural projects within Buildings and Infrastructure. You will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and maintain strong client relationships across diverse portfolios.

You will oversee proposals, tenders and project scopes, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and project objectives while driving innovation and excellence in engineering delivery.

Qualifications

• Lead structural calculations, analysis and design reviews in accordance with Australian Standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and designers across project teams.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex structural engineering projects across buildings, transport infrastructure, stations and facilities.
• Mentor engineers across career stages and serve as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee proposals, tenders and project scopes, including resource planning, methodology development and fee estimates.
