Team Lead - Senior Technical Advisor

As Power Systems Team Lead , you’ll lead a team of electrical engineers and drafters delivering investigations, designs, specifications and technical services for major infrastructure projects. You’ll provide technical direction, mentor engineers, manage resources, oversee project performance and build strong client relationships.

The role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects while contributing to business growth, proposal development and strategic client engagement. You’ll play a key role in developing team capability, maintaining technical excellence and ensuring successful project outcomes.

Who are you?

You are a highly experienced electrical engineering professional with a strong background in power systems design and delivery within a consulting or infrastructure environment. You have a proven track record of leading technical teams, managing project delivery and fostering positive client relationships.

You will bring:

• Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring engineering teams
• Strong technical expertise in power systems, transmission, distribution or rail traction systems
• Experience delivering multidisciplinary projects to budget, schedule and quality requirements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proposal development and project management experience
• Ability to coach and develop engineers, designers and drafters
• A proactive approach to business development and client engagement
• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and significant industry experience (20+ years highly regarded)
